I haven’t blogged since the ’90s, mainly for reasons of inertia, I think. But I love writing and so I’ve finally found a weekend in which to do something about it by updating this site and starting a blog.

This is my personal stuff: mainly meandering thoughts and some more structured creative writings. I’ve also just revived my ’90s blog, which is more suited to making points: Brighton Beach Memos. Everything’s a bit empty at present but I am starting to fill both.
